Set Up a Proxy Server for Wi-Fi
If your workplace or school network requires all traffic to pass through a specific server, a normal Wi-Fi connection on your Samsung phone will not get you online. Without the correct proxy host and port entered in the Wi-Fi settings, apps and browsers simply time out or show a connection error. This setup only affects the Wi-Fi network you configure it on, not mobile data.
Delete an Album in the Gallery App

The feature links you to certified public networks automatically, which can drain data or battery on networks you never chose yourself. You can switch this automatic behavior off in the Wi-Fi settings.
Wi-Fi Auto Reconnect Toggle
If your Samsung phone keeps rejoining a Wi-Fi network you deliberately left, or refuses to reconnect to a saved network on its own, the Auto reconnect setting is the reason. This option decides whether the device automatically re-establishes a connection to networks it has used before. When it is turned off, you have to tap the network manually every time it comes back into range.
Turn Edge Panels On or Off
On many Samsung phones a thin bar sits along the right or left screen edge and slides open into a panel whenever you drag it inward. This comes from the Edge panels feature, which ships active by default and can get in the way during games or one-handed use. If you never open the panels, the handle itself still stays visible and reacts to touches near the border.
Reset All Settings
If your ringtone, keyboard behavior, or display options feel wrong after some tweaking, a full settings reset can undo the mess without touching your files. Samsung's Reset all settings option restores default values for sound, language, security, and other system menus while keeping apps, photos, and contacts exactly where they are. Dialing Keypad Tone: Turn On or Off
Every digit you tap on the phone keypad triggers a short tone, and on some Samsung phones that sound plays even with the ringer muted. This comes from a separate system tone setting, not from the ringtone volume or a call app option.
Restore Default App Icons
Once you've applied a custom icon pack on your Samsung phone, there's no toggle in the app settings or launcher menu to bring icons back to their original look. The only place that reset lives is inside the Themes app, which most people never open again after installing a theme or icon set.

One UI actually ships with several distinct patterns, including a heartbeat, a knocking rhythm and a waltz-style pulse, but most people never notice the option exists. Picking a different pattern helps you tell calls apart from notifications by feel alone, without looking at the screen.
Turn Screen Rotation On or Off
If your Samsung screen stays locked in portrait mode even when you turn the device sideways, the Auto rotate function is switched off.
