Auto-Punctuate on Double Space Tap
Double-tapping the space bar on a Samsung keyboard sometimes adds a period automatically, sometimes it doesn't, and that inconsistency throws off your typing rhythm. This behavior depends on a keyboard setting called 'Double tap space bar to add period', which is turned off by default. Whether the shortcut works for you or not, this one setting is the reason.
Turn Ultra Wide Shape Correction On or Off
Wide-angle shots often bend straight lines near the edges of the frame, especially with faces or buildings close to the border. This warping, known as the fish-eye effect, comes from the ultra-wide lens itself. Samsung One UI can straighten these edges automatically, but the toggle is easy to overlook in the camera settings.
Forget a Saved Wi-Fi Network
If your Samsung phone keeps trying to reconnect to a Wi-Fi network you no longer use, an old saved profile is still stored on the device. This forces constant background scanning for that network and can slow down how quickly your phone switches to a stronger signal nearby. If your Secure Folder still carries its default label and icon, anyone glancing at your app list can spot exactly what it hides. Samsung lets you rename it and swap the icon for something less obvious, but the icon options are limited to presets and the initial letter of your chosen name. You cannot upload a custom image as the icon.

Turn Google Play Protect On or Off
If Google Play Protect keeps flagging or automatically disabling an app you trust, the built-in scanner has classified it as suspicious. This often happens with sideloaded APKs or niche tools that Google has not verified, even when the app runs fine. Repeated warning notifications or a greyed-out app icon are the clearest sign that Play Protect is intervening in the background.
Uninstall Secure Folder
Secure Folder can't just be deleted from your Samsung phone - it has to be uninstalled through its own settings menu. Confirming the uninstall wipes everything stored inside it, including apps, photos, contacts and documents. Once removed, you can set up a new Secure Folder from scratch later.
