Turn On/Off Message Delivery Reports

Restore Deleted Messages from Trash
If a text message disappears from the Samsung Messages app, it usually is not gone for good. Samsung keeps deleted messages in a Trash folder for a set period before permanent removal, and you can bring them back during that window.
Install Dual Messenger Apps
Switching between two WhatsApp or Facebook accounts on one phone usually means logging out and back in every time, which gets tedious fast on a dual-SIM device. Samsung's One UI includes a built-in function that installs a second, independent copy of supported messenger apps so both accounts stay logged in at once. Block or Unblock a Contact

Set Side Key to End Calls
Reaching across the screen to hang up gets annoying fast, especially with one hand full or the phone mounted somewhere out of reach. Samsung phones can end calls with a single press of the side key, but this option stays off by default. Until you switch it on, pressing the side key during a call just locks the screen or triggers whatever shortcut you set up elsewhere.
Set Default Dialer App
If you install a third-party calling app but Samsung's own Phone app still opens for calls and messages, the default dialer assignment hasn't changed yet. This also affects which app handles your call log and dial pad, similar to how default apps work for Home, Browser or Messages. Merge Duplicate Contacts
If the same person shows up twice or three times in your contact list, an import from SIM, cloud, or a second account has likely created copies instead of updating the original entry. Calls, messages, and search results then jump between the duplicate versions, so you never know which one holds the current number. Samsung's Contacts app can combine these entries automatically once you point it at the matching fields.
Filter Call History by Type
When your Samsung call log mixes missed, rejected, and outgoing calls together, finding one specific entry gets tedious fast. A built-in filter narrows the list down to just what you need, for example missed calls only or calls tied to one SIM. This works on any dual-SIM Samsung phone.

Getting the setting wrong means either missed calls or unwanted interruptions mid-conversation.
Send a Group Text Message
Typing out the same text to five people one by one gets old fast, and picking each contact by hand in Messages is easy to mess up. If you already saved a group of people in Contacts, there is a faster way to reach everyone at once without adding them individually. The trick is knowing where the Groups option actually sits inside the Messages app.
Add an Account to Calendar
If your appointments, birthdays or tasks from Google or Exchange are missing in the Calendar app, the account simply has not been linked yet. Samsung Calendar only shows data that is stored on your phone or connected through a synced account, so an unlinked account leaves whole calendars empty.
Add an Email Account (POP3/IMAP)
