Find Apps and Files with Samsung Finder Search

Mute All Sounds Setting
If your Samsung phone suddenly stays silent for calls, alerts and media at the same time, the Mute all sounds function is likely active. This mode can trigger by accident when you hold the volume key too long, and it overrides every individual volume slider. Once enabled, no ringtone, notification or app sound plays until you switch it off again.

Turn Find My Mobile On or Off
If your Samsung phone gets lost or stolen and you cannot see its location or lock it remotely, Find My Mobile is likely switched off or was never activated. Keep Screen On While Viewing: Turn On or Off
If your Samsung display refuses to dim or lock even though you are not touching it, the front camera is probably detecting your face and keeping the screen awake. This happens through a gesture feature called Keep screen on while viewing, which reads your gaze to stop the display from timing out. It can look like a battery drain issue if you never switched it on knowingly.
Customize Secure Folder Name and Icon
If your Secure Folder still carries its default label and icon, anyone glancing at your app list can spot exactly what it hides. If suggestions feel outdated, oddly personal, or simply distracting while you type, the keyboard's learning behavior is usually the cause. Turning predictive text off stops new suggestions and keeps the keyboard from adapting further to your typing history.
Turn Google Play Protect On or Off
If Google Play Protect keeps flagging or automatically disabling an app you trust, the built-in scanner has classified it as suspicious. This often happens with sideloaded APKs or niche tools that Google has not verified, even when the app runs fine. Repeated warning notifications or a greyed-out app icon are the clearest sign that Play Protect is intervening in the background.
Remove Apps from a Folder
Dragging one app at a time out of a crowded folder gets tedious fast, especially when a folder holds ten or more icons. Samsung's One UI does not offer a way to select several apps at once and pull them all out together. Play Tone When Call Connects
If you dial a number and hear nothing until the other person picks up, the connection tone that normally confirms an outgoing call has been switched off. Some Samsung phones ship with this sound disabled after a system update, so you lose the familiar ring back tone.
