You can control whether these Reminder tasks show up in Calendar without deleting the tasks themselves.
Share Multiple Contacts as One File or Individually
When you select several contacts at once, Samsung phones bundle them into a single vCard file by default. That combined file sometimes fails to import correctly on the receiving device, especially with messaging apps or older phones. Switching to individual sharing avoids that risk but sends one file per contact instead.
Turn Lift to Wake On or Off
If your Samsung screen turns on every time you pick the phone up off the table, Lift to wake is active by default. The motion sensor can trigger this even inside a pocket or bag, lighting up the display and any visible notifications without you touching a button. You can switch this gesture on or off from the motion and gesture settings.
Show or Hide Weather Forecast in Calendar
If the small weather icon is missing from your Calendar app, or you want it gone because it clutters your daily view, the setting sits inside the Calendar app itself, not in the weather widget settings. Without the weather forecast widget placed on your Home screen or Side screen first, the calendar option has nothing to pull data from and stays greyed out or invisible.
Add a Photo to a Contact
If a contact still shows only the first letter of the name or one of the animated default images that come with your Samsung device, calls and messages look generic instead of personal. This happens because no custom photo has been assigned to that contact yet. Swapping in your own picture makes the caller instantly recognizable on the call screen and in Messages.
Turn On/Off Message Delivery Reports

Create a Contact Group
Sending the same text to five people one at a time gets old fast, and forwarding photos to the same circle of friends over and over wastes time. Samsung's Contacts app lets you bundle recipients into a group, so calls, texts, and emails go out to everyone at once. You can also give the group its own ringtone to spot incoming calls immediately.
Turn Call Barring On or Off
If your Samsung phone keeps rejecting calls while roaming or blocks all outgoing calls without an obvious reason, Call barring is likely active in the background. This network-level restriction can lock out specific call types entirely, and changing it requires a network password from your carrier rather than your screen lock. Voice calls and video calls are controlled separately, which often causes confusion when only one type is affected.
Turn On or Off SOS Emergency Messages
Pressing the side or power key three times fast can silently fire off an emergency text with your location to contacts you never meant to alert - or the feature might not trigger at all when you actually need it. Filter the Contact List by Account

When your Samsung call log mixes missed, rejected, and outgoing calls together, finding one specific entry gets tedious fast. A built-in filter narrows the list down to just what you need, for example missed calls only or calls tied to one SIM. This works on any dual-SIM Samsung phone.
Show or Hide Calendar Week Numbers
If your Samsung Calendar does not show which calendar week you are currently viewing, the week number display is probably switched off.
