Turn Charging Vibration On or Off
Your Samsung plays a short tone every time you plug in the charger, even when you would rather feel a quiet vibration instead. This behavior is tied to the System sound/vibration control settings, which decide whether charging triggers sound, vibration, or stays silent. Get this setting wrong and you either miss charging confirmations in loud environments or get startled by tones during meetings.
Snooze a Notification
If a notification pops up at the wrong moment, dismissing it means losing track of it completely. Samsung phones let you hide a notification and bring it back after a set time instead of swiping it away for good. Once the timer runs out, the alert returns with its usual sound and pop-up, just like the first time.
Change Notification Sound
Notification tones on Samsung phones stay stuck on the default chime even when you have already changed your ringtone. Dual SIM devices let you assign a separate sound to each SIM card, but the tone list only offers standard, built-in options. There is no way to import a custom notification sound directly from this menu.
