Remove Biometric Data

If Google Play Protect keeps flagging or automatically disabling an app you trust, the built-in scanner has classified it as suspicious. Change Wallpaper on Lock Screen

Missing that separate step is the usual reason the lock screen never updates.

Rename a Fingerprint

Add Trusted Devices for Smart Lock
If your Samsung phone still asks for a PIN every time you get in the car or plug in your headphones, Smart Lock is not recognizing your Bluetooth accessory as trusted yet. Without a registered device, the phone falls back to full lock screen security even when it is clearly connected to something you use daily.
