Xiaomi: Edit and Rearrange Quick Settings Toggles

If the toggle you need most sits at the bottom of the control center or is missing entirely, you have to scroll or swipe further every time you want to switch it on. MIUI lets you add, remove and reorder these quick settings tiles, but the edit option is easy to miss if you have never opened it before.

Edit and Rearrange Quick Settings auf Xiaomi

The control center on Xiaomi phones shows a fixed set of quick settings tiles by default. Frequently used functions can end up buried further down, while toggles you never touch stay pinned at the top.

MIUI gives you an edit mode for the control center where you can add new toggles, remove ones you do not need, and drag existing tiles into a different order. This only changes what appears in the pull-down control center, not the notification list itself.

How to open the edit mode

Swipe downwards to open the quick settings/control centerTap on EditAdd, remove or move the desired functions/togglesTap on Done.

Inside edit mode, tap a toggle to add it to your control center, or tap the minus icon on an existing tile to remove it. Hold and drag a tile to move it to a new position, then confirm with Done to save the layout.

If a function is greyed out in the edit list, it usually needs to be enabled elsewhere in system settings first, for example a connectivity feature that is currently switched off at the hardware level.

Frequently asked questions

Some toggles only appear once the related function exists on your device, for example a feature tied to a specific hardware module. If a toggle is still missing after checking system settings, it may not be supported on your model.
