Pin a Conversation auf Xiaomi
The Xiaomi Messaging app orders conversations by the timestamp of the last message. A thread you rely on daily can quickly drop below newer, less important chats once other contacts start texting.
Pinning removes a conversation from that automatic sorting. A pinned thread stays at the top of the list, whether or not it has unread messages, until you unpin it manually.
How to pin a conversation
Open the Open the Messaging app ➔ Tap and hold a conversation ➔ Tap on Pin. The conversation moves to the first position immediately.
If you pin more than one conversation, MIUI arranges them in the order you pinned them, above all unpinned threads. Pinned conversations still receive notifications normally; pinning only changes their position in the list, not how alerts behave.
Use pinning for a conversation you check often, like a work chat or a family group. For threads you only need temporarily, unpinning afterward keeps the list from getting cluttered with old pins.
