Enable Reader View in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
Long articles on Wikipedia, news portals or blogs often mix text with ads, sidebars and images. That layout works fine on a desktop screen but crowds a phone display, forcing constant zooming and scrolling.
Mi Browser includes a built-in reader view that reduces a page to its main text and images. The feature analyzes the page structure and hides navigation bars, ad banners and related-content widgets that are not part of the actual article.
To switch it on, open the Open the Mi Browser app and tap on Tap on Reader view while a compatible page is loaded. The option only shows up on pages that Mi Browser recognizes as long-form content, such as encyclopedia entries or news stories; a plain homepage or a shop listing will not offer it.
Reader view only changes how text and images are displayed. It does not remove cookies, trackers or the original page from your browsing history. If a site relies on custom scripts, interactive elements or embedded video, some content can disappear once reader view is active. In that case, turn the feature off again from the same menu to return to the standard page layout.
