Turn Screen Wake for Notifications On or Off auf Xiaomi
On Xiaomi phones running MIUI, the screen wakes up automatically whenever a notification comes in. This is controlled by a single lock screen option, not by individual app settings.
When the option is enabled, every notification briefly turns on the display, showing the notification content even if the phone is locked. When it is disabled, the screen stays black and you only get the sound or vibration you set for that notification, with no visual preview until you pick up the phone.
To change this behavior, open Settings ➔ Lock screen and enable or disable Wake Lock screen for notifications.
Turning it off helps save battery and avoids light flashes during the night, which matters if you keep your phone on the nightstand. Turning it on is useful if you want to glance at incoming messages without unlocking the phone each time.
This setting affects all apps at once. If you only want to silence one specific app instead of changing the behavior system-wide, adjust that app's notification settings separately rather than disabling this option globally.
