Add Another Fingerprint auf Android
A single registered fingerprint works fine until you need to unlock your phone with the other hand, after an injury, or while wearing gloves on one hand. Android lets you store several fingerprints under the same unlock feature, so any registered finger can wake and unlock the device or confirm a payment.
The setting lives inside the fingerprint management screen, separate from Face unlock or pattern/PIN backup methods. Adding a finger does not remove or reset previously stored ones, and each finger works independently for unlock, app lock, or a private safe, depending on what your device model supports.
To add another fingerprint, go to Settings ➔ Security & privacy ➔ Device unlock ➔ Fingerprint Unlock ➔ Add fingerprint. Place your finger on the sensor and follow the on-screen instructions until the scan completes.
If the sensor keeps rejecting a new finger, clean the scanner area first and make sure the finger is dry. A screen protector that is not certified for fingerprint sensors can also block recognition.
