Clear App Data auf Android
Clearing app data removes everything an app has stored locally since you installed it: saved logins, chat history, downloaded files, and custom settings. This is different from clearing cache, which only removes temporary files the app can rebuild on its own. Use clearing app data when an app is stuck in a broken state, keeps crashing, or you want to fully reset it - use clearing cache first if you only want to free up space without losing your logins.
To clear app data on Android, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Apps ➔ Tap on See all apps ➔ Choose an App ➔ Tap on Storage & cache ➔ Tap on Clear storage ➔ Tap on Delete.
After confirming, the app behaves like a fresh install. You will need to sign in again, and any content that was not backed up online (offline documents, unsynced photos, local settings) is gone for good. If you only wanted to fix lag or free up space, try Tap on Storage & cache ➔ Clear cache instead, since that keeps your login and files intact.
Menu wording can shift slightly between Android versions, but the sequence through Settings, Apps, and Storage & cache stays the same on Android.
