Set Monthly Mobile Data Limit auf Android
When mobile data shuts off completely without any warning message, the monthly data limit is usually active. Unlike the data warning, which only sends a notification, the data limit disables mobile data entirely once the set volume is used up.
This setting lives inside the mobile network settings and is tied to a specific SIM card. On dual-SIM devices, each SIM has its own limit, so it is worth checking both if data stops unexpectedly on only one line.
Where to find it
Go to Tap on Settings ➤ Tap on Network & internet ➤ Tap on SIMs ➤ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) ➤ Tap on Data warning & limit.
From there, Enable or disable Set data limit switches the feature on or off. When enabling it, confirm with Tap on OK and set the volume that should trigger the cutoff.
If you only want a heads-up before running out of data, the separate data warning is the better option since it keeps mobile data active. The hard limit makes more sense on shared or capped plans where overage charges are a concern.
