Front Camera Mirror Setting auf Android
Front cameras naturally show a mirrored preview so you can frame a selfie the way you see yourself in a mirror. Some camera apps carry that flip into the saved photo, which is why text, logos, or watches can appear backwards in the final image.
This behavior is controlled by a dedicated toggle inside the camera app, separate from any system-wide display setting. Changing it only affects photos taken with the front camera, not the rear camera or video calls in other apps.
To adjust it, open Open Camera ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the settings ➔ Tap on Mirror front camera ➔ Choose an option. Depending on the camera app, the available choices let you save selfies exactly as the preview shows them, or save them flipped to match real-world orientation.
If your selfies still look wrong after changing this setting, check whether a third-party gallery or editing app is applying its own flip on export. In that case, the camera setting is correct and the issue sits in the other app instead.
