Uninstall an App auf Android
Every installed app keeps its own files, cache and sometimes downloaded content on your phone's storage. Over time, apps you rarely open still take up space and can slow down system updates or backups.
Android manages app removal through the system's Apps section, which lists every installed app together with its permissions and storage use. This same area also handles clearing cache, stopping notifications and force-closing apps, so make sure you tap Uninstall and not one of those other actions.
To remove an app completely, open Settings ➔ Apps ➔ See all apps, select the app you want gone, then tap Uninstall ➔ OK. The app and its local data disappear from your phone right away. Anything already synced to the cloud, like photos or documents backed up separately, stays untouched.
If you only need temporary space without losing the app and its settings, clearing the app's cache or offloading unused data is a better fix than uninstalling. Preinstalled system apps often skip the uninstall option entirely and only let you disable them instead.
