APN grayed out

I am currently on a Fido mobile network in Canada.   I have issue with MMS  cannot receive files like pictures, wave files, etc.   I tracked the problem down to my APN having the wrong settings.   The main issue is that the APNs are locked (grayed out).  I cannot add to or modify the ones I have there.   What do I do?

    Hello Ineedtofixthis!

    Have you tried resetting the network settings yet?

    You can also check if you can simply add a new APN and enter the appropriate data there.
