My phone keeps removing the icon for my banking app from the home screen

I use the Barclays app for banking on my phone. Recently I have discovered that the app icon keeps disappearing from my phone. When I check the app information the app is still there, is installed and I can use it but there is no icon on the home screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times but it keeps happening
