Hi, I can't customize my phone's home. Everytime I turn the phone off or it restarts, the apps that I use just disappear and it goes back to its default apps. How can I avoid this? Is there a setting that I don't know about?

    Please check if you can find a setting to lock the home screen you have set up, you
    might find it in the home settings by tapping and holding the screen.

    That way I see "Show Google App" and "Add icons to home" and they're both enabled. I've looked everywhere through the options, I think it's a problem with my device.

    Yes, I agree with you, it is not normal and I think this is a system error that can only be fixed by a reset.

    Please note that the error could also have been saved on a backup and will reoccur when restoring.

    First test it without loading a backup. If it works, restore the Backup.
