Picked my phone up to use the stopwatch and found the background was all black (with white text) instead of the usual black on white. The list of saved alarm times page was the same. I used the stopwatch (to time 2 x 2mins +10mins) and turned the phone off. Since then, the alarm feature doesn't work. I didn't think I had caught any buttons but I do struggle with touch screens and may have pressed the wrong part. Anyone know how to repair it ?

    Hi Videostar!

    The view of the alarms under Android is displayed in dark theme.

    Regarding the alarm times, I have to ask if they are enabled and if you have already added new alarms to figure out if it is an error?

    Otherwise, you could also check the Clock app settings to see if there is an option there to have alarms sound even when the device is off.

    Hi, failed to send an in-depth reply so will be more concice. Tried all your suggestions and found a new alarm time worked OK but the existing times still don't. How do I remove the old alarm times so that I can re-install them ? My phone was only delivered 01/12/2020 and is therefore only a few months old - I am worried that this may repeat itself, should I return it for repair ?

    You can tap and hold the existing alarms to highlight them, after that a Delete button should appear.
