We are now doing a weekly group video quiz using whatsapp ,over wi-fi, and all using different makes of phones but we have isolated and confirmed that my phone is the one causing interference to all in the video link.

Can you help please before they "chuck" me out of the group I started.

Regards and Thanks Jayne

    Hello Jayne!

Of course we don't want you to be kicked out of your own group.

Could you please explain to us to what extent there are interferences? connection failures? (It could
also be due to the general internet connection, which is very busy at the moment).

    We're waiting for your answer.

    Greetings!

    Hi, thanks for your reply,

It sounds like someone else is on the line to all in the group except me and my phone is clear.

I work with my sister so she took my phone to her house this weekend and the same problem happened there.

    Hope you can help.

    Regards

    Jayne

    Hello Jayne!

If the problem also occurs on your sister's Wi-Fi network, we can rule out Wi-Fi problems.

Have you ever tried to reinstall only WhatsApp?

    Greetings!

    Thanks Denny,

I am not good at these sort of things so could you explain how I do this and would I lose all my pictures and videos of friends and relatives?

    Regards

    Hello again!

If you have the files on the device memory or memory card, nothing happens when you uninstall WhatsApp.

To uninstall Whatsapp, tap and hold the WA icon and drag it to the uninstall screen,
then re-download WA from the Play Store.

Hi, Denny backed up Whatsapp to Google then unstalled Whatsapp, then re-installed and when we tested a group video the opinion was that it was worst then before.

    Looks like new phone needed.

Regards and thanks for your help so far,

    Jayne

    Hello Jayne!

there might be a problem with the phone, that's right. The
last thing you could try would be a reset to factory defaults. As a test, I wouldn't restore the device via a backup at first to see if it persists. (you´ll know if it's a system
error which is stored on the actual backup).

    Greetings!
