Not able to access Lock option at recent apps tray and Split Screen Option

Hi There..Good Day...

I have purchased a Redmi 9 (India) which is loaded with Miui 12 out of the Box.

Once the started the Phone, to my dismay, I found there is no Split Screen Option, and Lock Preview App Option is not found. The MIUI ROM is "MIUI Global 12.0.2 Stable 12.0.2.0 (QCTINXM).

Please help me attain the above two options, which is important for me for some daily functionality.
