Connect to Wi-Fi
To use the internet or network over Wi-Fi, you first need to connect to a Wi-Fi network. You can connect to a private (password required) or a public Wi-Fi network. After activating the Wi-Fi function on your Huawei device, you can choose an available network and connect to it.





- Open the settings
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Activate Wi-Fi
- Choose a Wi-Fi network
- Type in your details, the password if needed and confirm with Connect
Delete saved Wi-Fi networks
In this part of the menu, you will find the list of all Wi-Fi networks our device ever connected to. You can also delete single networks. There are many reasons for why you would like to delete a network from your Huawei device. One of the most is by far, to reconnect to the home network in case an error happened and the internet is slower than before.
Note: In this guide, we will follow through the settings until reaching the mentioned menu point, deleting a Wi-Fi network. Named steps are just for show.

- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Open the menu
- Open the settings
- Tap on Saved networks
- Tap on a Network
- Confirm with Forget
Add WiFi network manually
If a WiFi network is invisible, it must be added manually on the Huawei smartphone, which requires the SSID (access name of the router) and the corresponding password if the network is encrypted.




- Open the Settings
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Tap on Add network
- Enter the appropiate data and tap on Connect
WPS connection (WiFi)
In order to avoid the password entry of the WLAN network to be connected, we can also connect the Huawei smartphone by means of the WPS button on the router. To do this, we start function on the Huawei device and press the WPS button on the router.
