Huawei How to Manage Contact Groups

We can organize contacts on the Huawei smartphone into self-created contact groups, for example to send a group SMS if necessary. We can also assign a custom group ringtone to hear at the ringing who is calling, whether the group Sports or the group Work, for example.
Groups can be named and renamed at any time. When creating
a group, we can choose whether to store it in the Google or Huawei account.

We can add contacts to the created groups on the Huawei smartphone immediately or afterwards. A multi-selection is possible to make the function easier to use.

When creating a contact group on the Huawei smartphone, we assign a name directly. We can rename the group at any time.

An existing contact group on the Huawei smartphone is not fixed and can be edited at any time. To remove one or more members from the group, we do not need to delete the entire group.

Note: If we remove a contact from the group, the contact is not deleted.

By default, each group on the Huawei smartphone has the default system ringtone. If we want to assign an own ringtone to the group in order to be able to assign callers at the ringer, we find the corresponding option in the settings of the respective group.

Note: If individual contacts has been assigned their own ringtone, it will be prioritized.

The created groups on the Huawei smartphone can be deleted at any time, leaving the stored contacts, only the group is deleted.
