Outgoing message sounds

If you send a message from your Huawei device, you will hear a little audio signal by default to signal the message is sent. You can (de-)activate this if wished.

Step 1:  Open  Messages
Step 2:  Open the  menu
Step 3:  Open the  settings
Step 4:  Activate or deactivate  Hear outgoing message sounds

Mute camera tone

By default, the camera sounds are turned on. If you don't want a sound for each picture you're taking, you can deactivate this in the camera settings.

Keypad tones

For the keyboard input on the Huawei smartphone, a sound can be (de-) activated, which provides you with acoustic feedback for each letter. You can choose between "Standard", "Melody", or "None" for the keypad tones.

Step 3:  Tap on  More sound settings
Step 4:  Tap on  Keypad tones
Step 5:  Choose between  None ,  Default  or  Melody

Screen lock tone

If you lock and unlock your Huawei smartphone using the power switch, there will be a little sound whenever you lock your screen. This tone can be (de-) activated at any time in the settings.

Note: If the Huawei device is set to "Mute" or "Silent", there will be no sound when locking.

Screenshot tone

You can decide for yourself whether a short acoustic signal should be heard after a screenshot has been taken with the Huawei smartphone.

Startup sound

You can activate or deactivate the sound you hear when you start your device in the settings.

Touchscreen sounds

If you navigate through the menu, the settings, or use the browser with the Huawei smartphone, an acoustic feedback sounds as soon as a function, such as "Back" or "Activate", is tapped. The tones of the touchscreen can be switched on and off.

Dial pad sounds

We can enable or disable the dial pad tones of the phone app on the Huawei smartphone at any time. When enabling the dial pad tones, we can choose between the following options:

  • Default: Default Beep
  • Melody: Ascending and descending dialing tones
