The sort order sits in a setting most people never open, so the list looks fixed until you know where to look.
Enable or Disable the Virtual Safe
Photos, videos, or documents left unprotected on your Huawei phone are visible to anyone who unlocks the device. The virtual safe encrypts these files behind a separate password, but many users never notice the feature or run into it only after files disappear from the gallery. Setting it up means creating a password of 6 to 16 letters or numbers, and turning it off again removes that extra layer of protection.
