Share contacts

Then and when there will be a situation where you need (or want) to send a contact to someone. There are a lot of possibilities on how to do this, but best would be by message or e-Mail to prevent typing mistakes.

Import contacts

You can import contacts from different sources on your Huawei device. This means VCF-files from your storage, SIM cards or files received by bluetooth. You can choose either your device storage or your google account as the saving destination.

Export contacts

The functions of the contacts-app of your Huawei device is simplyfied and very well described. Contacts can be exported as VCF-File into the intern or extern storage. From there, the contacts can be sent to other devices. It is only possible to export all contacts at once, single contacts need to by exported by using the share function of your Huawei device.

Merge duplicate contacts

Sometimes, saved contacts can be shown double on your Huawei device. The reason for this is, that contacts are often saved within different apps separately. With the merge duplicate function you can clean up the double contacts by merging the same ones into one.

Copy contacts

Already existing contacts can be copied internally on the Huawei Smartphone to have them stored on diverse storage places. You can choose source and storage location. Messenger like WhatsApp are also listed.

Restore deleted contacts

If you deleted some contacts by chance and want to have them back, don't worry, they're not lost completely. You have 30 days to restore them, After this time, they will be deleted completely.

Step 4:  Tap on  Organize contacts
Step 5:  Tap on  Recently deleted
Step 6:  Tap and hold the  contact  you want to restore

Share contacts as...

The contacts stored on the Huawei smartphone can be forwarded or shared at any time to prevent typos and to share the details completely. The Huawei device gives us the following options for sharing a contact:

  • QR Code
  • vCard
  • Text (message)

Block contact

If you wish, we can also block or blacklist contacts stored on the Huawei smartphone. Once blocked, we will no longer receive any messages or phone calls from that contact.
