Lock the Home Screen Layout
Dragging an icon by accident on your Huawei home screen can undo hours of careful arranging. Set Default Calendar Reminder Time
Adding the same reminder to every new event in the Calendar app gets tedious fast. If you keep picking 10 minutes before or Start time of an event manually each time, a single setting can handle it for you going forward.
Set a Custom Lock Screen Signature
If your Huawei lock screen still shows the name from your business card instead of your own text, the default signature setting is active. Many people only notice this after setting up their device, when a stranger's name or generic label appears every time the screen wakes up. This can be replaced with any text you want, including contact details for a lost phone.
Block Pop-ups in the Browser App
Websites that need extra tabs, like login windows or file downloads, may fail to open if the browser's pop-up blocker is active. On Huawei phones running EMUI, the Browser app blocks pop-ups by default, which can break certain site functions. You can turn this protection on or off directly in the browser's settings.
Delete a Calendar Event
When an event no longer applies or two appointments overlap, you need to remove it from the Calendar app on your Huawei phone. Disable App Lock
If you no longer want a PIN or password prompt every time you open certain apps, the built-in app lock on your Huawei phone can get in the way.
