Clear typing data

You can delete the saved words, voice data and phrases on the keyboard of your Huawei smartphone.

Android 10 (EMUI 10.0)
Step 1:  Open the  settings
Step 2:  Tap on  System & updates
Step 3:  Tap on  Language & input
Step 4:  Tap on  SwiftKey Keyboard
Step 5:  Open the  menu
Step 6:  Tap on  Clear typing data
Step 7:  Confirm with  Continue

Default keyboard

By default, the Swiftkey keyboard is used on the Huawei smartphone. If other keyboards have been installed, they can be activated under this menu item.

Note: No other keyboards have been installed for this guide. Only the steps to activate another keyboard are shown here.

Google voice typing

Google voice typing on the Huawei smartphone converts speech into text and makes text entry much easier and faster.

Note: After a restart, the device must be unlocked to access this input method.

Step 4:  Enable or disable  Google voice typing
Step 5:  Confirm with  OK

Share usage statistics

We can share keyboard usage statistics to improve the service, automatically sharing what and how people type. Since
this is a privacy issue, we can always turn this option off on the Huawei smartphone.
