Allow HiSuite to Use HDB auf Huawei
HiSuite exchanges files, contacts, backups and updates between your Huawei phone and a PC over a USB cable. That exchange only works reliably if the phone grants HiSuite the same level of access as USB debugging, called HDB (Huawei Debug Bridge).
By default, HDB access stays turned off. Android and EMUI treat it as a security-sensitive permission because it lets a connected PC read and write more data than a normal file transfer.
To enable it, open Settings ➔ Security ➔ More settings ➔ enable Allow HiSuite to use HDB.
Once enabled, reconnect the USB cable and confirm the connection prompt on the phone screen. HiSuite should then detect the device and start syncing without repeated connection errors.
Turn this setting off again after finishing your transfer, especially on a shared or public PC. Leaving HDB access enabled permanently increases the attack surface if the phone connects to an untrusted computer.
If HiSuite still does not detect the phone after enabling HDB, check that the correct USB mode is selected in the notification panel and that the HiSuite drivers on the PC are up to date.
