Enable or Disable Auto Capitalize auf Huawei
On Huawei devices running EMUI, the SwiftKey keyboard handles text capitalization through a dedicated typing setting. When Auto capitalize is turned on, the keyboard automatically capitalizes the first letter of a sentence and the first word after a punctuation mark such as a period or question mark.
If the option is off, every word stays lowercase unless you capitalize it manually, which is useful for people who type in lowercase styles or use custom text formats. If it is on but seems to trigger at the wrong moments, it usually means the keyboard misread a punctuation mark or line break as the end of a sentence.
To change the behavior, open Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Language & input ➔ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➔ Tap on Typing ➔ Tap on Typing & autocorrect ➔ Activate or deactivate Auto capitalize.
This setting only affects the SwiftKey keyboard app. If you switch to a different keyboard app later, you need to check its own typing settings separately, since capitalization preferences do not carry over between keyboard apps.
