Set the Date Manually auf Huawei
On most Huawei phones running EMUI, the date is pulled from the mobile network or a connected time server, just like the clock. This works fine with a stable signal, but it also means any manual change you make gets overwritten the next time the phone reconnects.
The setting responsible for this behavior is Set automatically inside the date and time menu. As long as it stays enabled, the system treats the network-provided date as the source of truth and ignores manual input.
To take control, open Settings ➔ System & updates ➔ Date & time ➔ Disable Set automatically. Once the toggle is off, tap Date, pick the day, month and year you need, then confirm with OK.
This is useful for testing apps, working around a wrong regional time server, or keeping an offline device from drifting into the wrong date. Keep in mind that leaving automatic sync off means the date will not correct itself after travel or a daylight saving change, so you need to switch it back on manually later.
If only the time is off but the date is correct, check the time zone setting instead of touching this toggle.
