Choosing a Camera Filter auf Huawei
The Huawei camera app lets you apply a color filter before you take a photo instead of editing it afterward. This changes the tone, contrast and mood of the shot in real time, so what you see in the viewfinder matches the final result.
To browse and apply a filter, open Open Camera ➔ Tap on Filter ➔ Pull the filters to the left to scroll through the available filters ➔ Choose a Filter. Each filter, such as 'Sentimental' or 'Valencia', previews live on screen before you shoot.
Filters work well for portraits, food shots or travel photos where a specific mood matters more than natural color accuracy. For photos you plan to edit heavily afterward, shooting without a filter usually gives more flexibility, since color adjustments are easier to make from an unfiltered base image.
Switching between camera modes can hide the filter option, depending on which mode is active. If the filter row disappears, check that you are still in the standard photo mode rather than a specialized shooting mode.
