Manually Select a Mobile Network auf Huawei
Huawei phones running EMUI on Android default to automatic network search. Near a country border or in areas with weak domestic coverage, that search can pick a foreign carrier because it offers a stronger signal, not because it fits your plan.
Turning off automatic search lets you fix the carrier yourself, which stops your phone from switching networks every time coverage drops for a moment. This is useful for travelers who want to lock onto a specific roaming partner instead of whatever network answers first.
To change this, open Open the settings ➔ Tap on Mobile network ➔ Tap on Mobile data ➔ Tap on Carrier ➔ Activate or deactivate Automatic. Confirm with OK and choose a network from the list that appears.
Switching off automatic mode means your phone stops hunting for alternatives once the connection weakens, so pick a network with reliable coverage in your area. If reception issues persist after a manual selection, check whether flight mode was toggled recently or reset network settings instead.
