Decrypt Memory Card auf Huawei
Encrypting a memory card on a Huawei phone ties the card to that specific device. EMUI generates a hardware-bound key during encryption, which is why the card refuses to mount or shows as empty when inserted into another phone, tablet or laptop.
To reverse this, open the settings on the same Huawei phone that encrypted the card. Go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Security ➔ Tap on More settings ➔ Tap on Encryption and credentials ➔ Tap on Decrypt memory card ➔ Confirm with Decrypt memory card.
Once confirmed, the phone rewrites the card's encryption state so it becomes readable on any device again. This can take a few minutes depending on how much data is stored on the card, so keep the phone charged and avoid removing the card during the process.
Decryption removes the extra protection layer, so anyone with physical access to the card can read its contents afterward. If you plan to keep using the card exclusively in this phone, decrypting is unnecessary and skipping it keeps your data protected.
