Delete a Keyboard Language auf Huawei
SwiftKey Keyboard on Huawei phones stores a separate language pack for every layout you install, including its dictionary and prediction data. If you switch languages often but only use one or two regularly, the extra entries clutter the language list and take up space you cannot always see in the storage overview.
To remove a language, open Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Language & input ➔ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➔ Tap on Languages. Tap and hold the language you want to delete, then confirm with Delete.
Deleting a language removes its data completely. If you need it again later, you have to download it again through the same Languages menu, which requires an active internet connection.
If you only want to hide a language temporarily without losing its data, disabling it instead of deleting it is the better option, since re-enabling it is instant and does not need a new download. Deleting is the right move when you are sure you will not type in that language for a while and want to reclaim the storage.
Note that SwiftKey Keyboard always keeps at least one active language, so you cannot delete the last one remaining on the list.
