Disable Developer Options auf Huawei
Developer options give access to system-level toggles meant for testing apps, not daily use. On EMUI these include things like USB debugging, forced hardware acceleration and animation scaling, all of which stay active in the background once enabled.
Leaving them on is not dangerous by itself, but it does expose debugging access to any USB connection and can override normal display or performance behavior without an obvious reason. If you only turned the menu on to sideload an app or check a setting once, switching it back off removes that exposure.
Where to turn it off
Go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Developer options ➔ Disable the Developer options. The switch sits at the top of the screen; flipping it off deactivates every option below it in one step, without deleting the menu itself.
You do not need to reset individual toggles like USB debugging first. Turning off the main switch overrides all of them at once, and the settings underneath simply become inactive until you enable Developer options again.
Skip this step only if you actively use ADB, sideload apps regularly, or rely on a specific developer toggle for ongoing testing. In that case, disable just the individual option you no longer need instead of the whole menu.
