Enable or Disable URL Specific Keys auf Huawei
URL specific keys are a typing feature inside the SwiftKey keyboard on Huawei phones running EMUI. When you tap a web address field, SwiftKey detects the input type and swaps the top row of keys for shortcuts like .com, /, or www. This saves taps when filling out browser bars or login forms that expect a URL.
If the shortcuts keep appearing in fields where you do not want them, or if they are missing entirely, the toggle controlling this behavior sits inside the keyboard settings, not the general system menu. Open the following path to reach it:
Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Language & input ➔ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➔ Tap on Typing ➔ Tap on Keys ➔ Activate or deactivate Enable URL specific keys
Turning the option off returns the standard letter row in every text field, including browser address bars. Turning it on restores the shortcut keys whenever SwiftKey recognizes a URL field. If a third-party keyboard app is active instead of SwiftKey, this setting has no effect and the shortcut behavior depends on that app instead.
