Change the Browser Homepage auf Huawei
The Huawei Browser manages its own start page separately from any general Android settings. By default it loads a curated page with shortcuts to sites like Google, YouTube, or news portals, which is fine for a quick overview but ignores whatever site you actually want to see first.
Three options exist for this start page: the default Standard page, a Blank page with nothing on it, or a Custom page where you type in your own URL. Only the last one lets you control exactly what loads.
To switch it, go to Open the Browser app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Home page settings ➔ Tap on Customize home page ➔ Choose Custom page ➔ Enter the URL and tap OK.
Once saved, that address loads whenever you open the browser or tap the home icon inside it. New tabs are not affected by this setting; they use their own shortcut layout.
This change only applies to the Huawei Browser app itself. If you use a different browser as your daily driver, its homepage has to be adjusted inside that app's own settings instead.
