Huawei: Enable or Disable Quick Prediction Insert

Quick prediction insert lets the SwiftKey keyboard on your Huawei phone commit the top suggestion as soon as you tap the space bar, even if you have only typed the first few letters of a word. This speeds up typing but can also insert the wrong word if the suggestion list changes while you type fast.

The setting only takes effect when autocorrect is switched on, since prediction insert relies on the same suggestion engine. If autocorrect is off, quick prediction insert has no effect regardless of its own toggle state.

To change the behavior, follow this path: Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Language & input ➔ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➔ Tap on Typing ➔ Tap on Typing & autocorrect ➔ Activate or deactivate Quick prediction insert.

Turn the option off if autocorrect keeps swapping words you already finished typing correctly. Keep it on if you type long messages and want single-tap word completion on the space bar.
