Reset All System Settings auf Huawei
Resetting all settings on a Huawei phone clears system-level configurations without deleting files, photos, or installed apps. This differs from a factory reset, which wipes the entire storage.
The function targets network profiles, saved WiFi passwords, fingerprint and face recognition data, and the current lock screen password. It is the right fix when a WiFi network fails to connect properly, biometric unlock stops recognizing you, or your lock screen credentials feel compromised.
If your problem involves missing photos, corrupted apps, or storage issues, a settings reset will not help. In that case, a full factory reset or an app-specific fix is the better route.
To reset all settings on EMUI: Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Reset ➔ Tap on Reset all settings ➔ Tap on Reset all settings ➔ Type in your lockscreen PIN ➔ Confirm with Reset all settings.
After confirming, the phone reboots. You need to reconnect to WiFi networks manually and re-enroll fingerprints or face data. Set a new lock screen password during the first unlock afterward.
