Search a Website for a Keyword auf Huawei
Some websites pack so much text onto one page that scanning manually wastes time. EMUI's Browser app has a built-in page search that highlights every occurrence of a word or phrase without leaving the page.
How the search works
Open Open the Browser app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Tap on Find in page ➔ Enter a keyword ➔ Tap on the arrow icons to browse the results. As soon as you start typing, the browser marks all matches on the current page and shows how many were found.
The arrow icons move you from one match to the next, so you can jump through a long article without scrolling past it manually. This works only for text that is already loaded on the page, not for content hidden behind pagination or lazy-loading.
If the keyword does not appear at all, the counter stays at zero and no highlights show up. In that case the term may be spelled differently on the page, or it sits inside an image instead of regular text, which this search function cannot read.
For searching across the entire internet rather than one open page, use the address bar or a search engine instead. Page search only works within the site you already have open.
