Edit Quick Response Text Messages auf Huawei
Declining a call on a Huawei phone offers a shortcut: swipe up and send a short text instead of hanging up silently. That text comes from a small list stored in the Phone app, and by default it contains generic phrases like promising a callback. Most people never touch this list, so the wording stays impersonal and often does not match the real situation.
You can rewrite every entry so it fits how you actually talk to callers, for example mentioning that you are driving or in a meeting. The list is limited to a fixed number of slots, so editing an existing entry is usually faster than trying to add a new one.
To reach the setting, open Open the Phone app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Respond with text ➔ Choose a quick response to edit. Type the new wording and save it.
Keep in mind that this feature relies on SMS. It only works for calls arriving through your regular phone number, not for calls made through messaging apps. If your carrier charges for SMS, sending a quick response counts as a normal text message.
