Enable or Disable Wi-Fi Calling auf Huawei
Wi-Fi Calling on Huawei phones lets your device send voice calls through your wireless network instead of the mobile network. This matters in buildings with thick walls, basements or rural areas where mobile signal is weak but Wi-Fi is stable. The feature sits inside the Phone app rather than the general network settings, which is why many people miss it.
To turn it on, open Phone ➔ Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Wi-Fi Calling. Toggle the switch to activate it, then confirm the prompt with Enable. The same path lets you switch it off again if calls sound clearer over the mobile network in your location.
On first activation, EMUI shows a warning that emergency calls cannot be placed through Wi-Fi Calling. Your phone automatically falls back to the mobile network for emergency numbers, so this is a safety notice rather than a limitation you need to work around.
Call quality with Wi-Fi Calling depends on your router and internet speed, not just signal bars. If calls still cut out after enabling it, check whether your Wi-Fi connection itself is unstable rather than assuming the feature is broken.
