Add a Printer Manually by IP Address auf OnePlus
OnePlus phones include a Default Print Service that scans the local network for supported printers and adds them automatically. That service checks against a built-in manufacturer list, so a printer outside that list does not show up even when it is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Adding the printer manually by IP address skips the automatic scan and creates a direct connection instead. This only works if the printer supports network printing and Wi-Fi Direct is turned off, since an active Wi-Fi Direct connection can block the manual IP setup.
Go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Bluetooth & device connection ➔ Tap on Printing ➔ Tap on Default Print Service, then Open the menu and select Tap on Add printer. Choose Tap on Add printer by IP address, then Enter the hostname or IP address and tap on Add.
Check the IP address on the printer display or in its network settings menu before starting. If the printer changes its IP address after a router restart, the connection breaks and you need to repeat these steps with the new address. A static IP or a fixed lease in your router settings avoids that problem long term.
