Add a Keyboard Language auf OnePlus
Gboard only offers autocorrect, suggestions, and character layouts for languages you have actively enabled. If your OnePlus phone keeps correcting text into the wrong language, or a language is missing from the keyboard switcher, that language simply has not been added to Gboard yet.
To add a new keyboard language, go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Languages & input ➔ Tap on Virtual keyboard ➔ Tap on Gboard ➔ Tap on Languages ➔ Tap on Add keyboard ➔ Choose a language ➔ Tap on Done.
Gboard automatically picks a matching layout for the language you select, so you rarely need to adjust anything manually afterward. Once added, you can switch between active languages directly from the keyboard, usually with a globe or language key, without going back into Settings.
Removing a language you no longer use keeps the switcher short and speeds up autocorrect, since Gboard checks fewer dictionaries at once. If typing still feels off after adding a language, check whether the correct layout variant was picked, since some languages offer more than one keyboard layout.
