Add More Exceptions to Do Not Disturb Mode auf OnePlus
Do Not Disturb on OnePlus phones is built to silence calls and messages first, but it also touches alarms, media playback, and touch feedback sounds unless you tell it otherwise. If alarms stay muted, media suddenly loses sound, or touch feedback disappears while Do Not Disturb is active, those behaviors are controlled by a separate exceptions list, not the call and contact settings most people find first.
This list lives one step deeper in the sound settings. Once you find it, each option works as a simple on/off switch, so you decide exactly which system sounds are allowed to break through Do Not Disturb.
Where to find the extra exceptions
Open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & vibration ➔ Tap on Do Not Disturb ➔ Tap on See all exceptions ➔ Enable or disable the desired option.
From there you can allow alarms so they still ring even when the phone is otherwise silenced, keep media sounds playing during videos or music, or turn touch sounds back on for keyboard and tap feedback. Each toggle is independent, so enabling one does not automatically affect the others.
If you only want to silence notifications temporarily without touching alarms or media, this exceptions list is the more precise fix compared to turning Do Not Disturb off completely. It lets you keep the quiet mode active while carving out the specific sounds you still need.
