Assign Alarm Functions to Volume Buttons auf OnePlus
On OnePlus phones, the volume buttons on the side can double as alarm controls. This works independently of the touchscreen, which matters when the phone is face-down on the nightstand or the display is off.
By default, pressing a volume button while an alarm rings usually snoozes it. That is convenient for a quick extra doze, but it also means a stray press during sleep can extend an alarm you meant to stop.
To change this behavior, open Open the Clock app ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Volume and power buttons, then choose Snooze, Dismiss, or Do nothing.
Selecting Dismiss stops the alarm outright with one button press, useful if you want to get up right away without fumbling for the screen. Choosing Do nothing removes button control entirely, which helps if someone else in bed might silence your alarm by accident while reaching over you.
This setting only affects the physical volume buttons during an active alarm. It does not change how you snooze or dismiss alarms from the screen itself.
