On OnePlus phones running Oxygenos, the alarm tone has its own volume control, separate from media, ringtone, and notification sound. This matters because many users assume the alarm always plays at the same loudness as apps or games, then get caught off guard when a quiet media setting carries over to the morning alarm.
To adjust it, open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & vibration ➔ Swipe left or right to set the alarm volume. The alarm slider offers seven distinct levels, letting you pick something loud enough to wake you without maxing out every other sound on the phone.
If the alarm still feels too quiet even at the highest level, check that Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode is not muting alarms, and confirm the phone is not in silent mode for calls only, since some Focus profiles can affect how alarms behave. If you rely on a third-party alarm app instead of the built-in clock, that app may use its own volume setting rather than the system slider described here.
