Create an Album for Photos or Videos auf OnePlus
OnePlus Gallery sorts media by date out of the box. Trip photos, screenshots, and downloaded images all sit in one continuous feed, which makes it hard to find a specific event later.
Albums, called Collections in the OnePlus Gallery, solve this by letting you group related photos and videos under a name you choose. This is useful for trips, recurring projects, or separating personal shots from screenshots and memes.
How to create an album
Open the Gallery app and tap on Collections. Tap Create album, enter a name, and tap Save.
Once the album exists, tap Add to fill it. Choose an album or location as the source, select one or more photos or videos, and confirm with Confirm.
You then choose between Copy to ... or Move to .... Copy keeps the original file in its current folder and adds a duplicate reference to the album. Move removes the file from its original location entirely, so it only exists inside the new album.
Pick a clear album name from the start. Some apps and backup tools use album names for sorting or syncing, so a vague or duplicate name can make files harder to track down later.
